It started with sketching, which mostly taught me to look closely. Studying information management and information systems added the other half: it showed me that software development and innovation can’t happen without designers in the room, and it took me through how computer systems work, front-end code included. During my master’s in Interaction Design and Electronic Arts at the University of Sydney, I sharpened my multimedia and web design skills, and that is where the two halves met.

So most of my work is finding a better way for something to work. When a flow feels clumsy, I keep asking “what happens if…?” until I know why, then weigh what a fix gives back against what it costs to build. I’m the only designer, so every flow is mine from the first tap to the last edge case, and I don’t hand it over until it holds together.

AI is part of how I work. I direct Claude and Figma MCP to generate and iterate screens, and I built a Claude skill that rebuilds legacy screens as token-bound components. The decisions stay mine.
